USERNAME = AK Personnel Number
(Your personnel number is either a 4 or 5 digit number which can be found on your KeplerCard.)
i.e. four-digit personnel number 6789 = AK106789 (personnel number + 100.000)
i.e. five-digit personnel number 12345 = AK112345 (personnel number + 100.000)
PASSWORD = your eDirectory password

This is your login password for Novell, Groupwise, KUSSS, eWork, SAP-VPN, Intranet, u:book.

Access Information for JKU Students
In order to log in to IT services at the JKU (KUSSS, WLAN, u:book, HAN, ...), you must currently be enrolled at the university and have an active JKU account.
USERNAME = K + Matriculation Number i.e. K0612345
(1) You already have an eDirectory password.
After you enrolled at the university, you submitted a personal password at the Service Point terminal under the menu eDirectory. Your eDirectory personal password allows you to access services such as KUSSS, WLAN, u:book as well as HAN. You can also access databases and eJournals at the Main Campus Library.
(2) You have not created an eDirectory password at a Service Point terminal and have not yet logged on to KUSSS.
When you first log on to KUSSS your password will be your date of birth (please use the format YYYY-MM-DD, i.e. 1978-11-30). Dashes are included.
After logging in, you will be asked to create an eDirectory password. Please use this password the next time you log into the system. At this point, you can continue as above in (1).
(3) Forgot your password?
If you have forgotten your eDirectory password (WLAN, HAN=Digital Library, u:book) and your KUSSS password, please go to a Service Point terminal and “eDirectory” cancel your password and submit a new one (follow instructions). You will need your KeplerCard and the 5-digit pin code. Create your pincode when you use your KeplerCard at the Service Point terminal for the first time.

You can change your password online here (follow instructions).
4 weeks after officially leaving your academic studies at JKU, your KUSSS account will be deactiviated.
