I was born on July 25th, 1977 in Steyr, Upper Austria. The first years of my life I spent in Laussa, a small village near Steyr. During the years of my high school time our family lived in Steyr and since 1996 in St. Ulrich bei Steyr, where I still live. In 1996 I started studying Mathematics and Physics at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz in order to become a teacher. In 2001 I started my graduate studies in Mathematics which I finished 2004. Since then I am working at the Institute for Algebra at the Johannes Kepler University. Also since 2004 I am working as a teacher in high school, currently at the HTL Grieskirchen.

Apart from mathematics my personal interest is music. I am playing in a Rock Band called Bauchweh, we make music in Austrian dialect.
