Invoice / Receipt
After placing your order through the online registration tool, you will receive an e-mail as order confirmation of your booking. We will then process your ordering and payment and send you by e-mail a formal invoice / receipt (as attachment) automatically within the next few days.
The following terms and conditions set out the legal rules applicable to the 30th International Workshop on Statistical Modelling (“IWSM 2015"). Participants shall be bound by these terms and conditions upon registering for the IWSM 2015 and are advised to read and understand these terms carefully before registering. The Organizer will not accept any conditions contradictory to or deviant from these general terms and conditions.
Responsible for the organization of the IWSM 2015 is the Johannes Kepler University Linz, Department of Applied Statistics (IFAS), located in Linz, Austria.
Registration to the Conference must be done through the online registration system. The online registration deadline is June 30 2015. Participants will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration details. If you do not obtain anything, please send an email to iwsm2015(/\t)jku.at to make sure that the Organizer has received your booking. Registration will only be effective after authorization of credit card payment. Please notify any corrections to your registration immediately.
Fees and Payment Conditions
The registration fee is
Full fee (early / late): 420 EUR / 515 EUR
Studen fee with journal (early / late): 315 EUR / 400 EUR
Student fee without journal (early / late): 250 EUR / 335 EUR
and includes admission to all conference sessions, the Volume I of the proceedings in print, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, lunch breaks from Monday to Thursday and the welcome reception. For the full fee and the student fee with journal a one-year subscription to the journal "Statistical Modelling" is also included.
Early bird registration fees apply until April 30 2015. Thereafter the late fee will be charged.
Short course, excursion, conference dinner and the Volume II of the proceedings in print are excluded from these registration fees and result in the following additional expenses:
Short Course: 100 EUR
Excursion: Kremsmünster Abbey: 60 EUR
Excursion: Walking / Hiking Tour: 50 EUR
Conference Dinner: 70 EUR
Proceedings Volume II in print: 20 EUR
We recommend using the online payment (Master Card, Visa, American Express) when registering for the IWSM 2015. After the online payment you will receive an automatic e-mail message that the transaction was successful. All payments are made in Euro.
Participants shall be entitled to cancel their registration within a period of 7 days after registration at no cancellation charge. In this case the registration fee shall not become due. Notwithstanding the preceding provision the following shall apply: If cancellations are received by May 31 2015, the registration fee will be reimbursed minus an administrative fee of 100 euros. If cancellations are received after May 31 2015, there will be no refund and the full amount will remain due. The date of receipt shall be decisive. Participants, who do not cancel and do not attend, will still be responsible for the full registration fee. The Participant has the right to appoint a substitute at any time without additional cost.
All cancellations and changes must be submitted in written form – with indication of full name and invoice number – to the email address: iwsm2015(/\t)jku.at.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the content of the program, the speakers and the times of presentations. If the number of participants is insufficient, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Conference and all related products and/or services without any liability on his part. In the case of a cancellation by the Organizer participants will be reimbursed the registration fee actually paid.
The Organizer does not accept liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness in respect to conference documentation and content.
The Organizer will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
The Organizer may free of charge and without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures and shots taken of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) during the Conference for reports of the Conference and announcement of events in future.
All personal data provided to the Organizer for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. Data shall be delivered to assigned service providers, as deemed necessary for the successful performance of the Conference. The Organizer will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose(s) identified above.
In addition the information will be used to generate a list of participants to be distributed among Conference participants.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
All agreements between the Organizer and the Participant and all disputes which may arise between the Organizer and the Participants shall be exclusively subject to Austrian law. Court of jurisdiction shall be Linz, if not otherwise required by the Austrian Consumer Protection Act.
