Deadlines and Fees

Start of submission: November 2017
Deadline of submission: April 30th 2018
Notification of acceptance/rejection: at the latest on June 1st 2018
Registration for the conference: from May 1st 2018 to September 30th 2018

The conference fee includes all necessary materials:

  • Admittance to all scientific sessions including the key note speech
  • Certificate of attendance
  • Beverages, coffee/tea and refreshments
  • Lunches on Wednesday and Thursday
  • Guided tour and gala dinner at Voestalpine Stahlwelt

The fee for the optional excursion to Salzburg includes:

  • Transport from Linz to Salzburg and return
  • Guided tour through the old town of Salzburg (2 h) by a professional tourist guide

Registration and payment of the conference fee can only be conducted via the registration system. No cash payments will be accepted at the conference. The fees for the conference are as follows:

  • Regular price is € 450 / Reduced fee for attending authors is € 300
  • Optional excursion to Salzburg € 50

Attending authors from JKU please be informed not to use the registration system provided. Please us “Interne Leistungsverrechnung” instead.

Cancellation Policy
You must contact us no later than October 1st 2018 to cancel your registration for the EMFAIC 2018. For cancellations made before, your registration fee will be refunded less a 50 % cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after October 1st 2018.

Cancellation requests must identify the registrant’s name, email address, and amount paid. Send cancellation requests to emfaic(/\t)jku.at.
