Welcome to IMEKO TC2 2011

Dear Sir, dear Madam,

It is a great honor for the Johannes Kepler University of Linz, Austria, to host the "20^th IMEKO TC2 Symposium on Photonics in Measurement 2011" - IMEKO TC2 Symposium 2011.

The IMEKO TC2 Symposium 2011 is an International Symposium and will be held from May 16^th to May 18^th, 2011, Linz, Austria, European Capital of Culture in 2009!

Photonics has dramatically expanded and progressed in recent years. Photonics technologies and solutions are widely implemented in measuring and testing because of their flexibility, reliability and contactless nature. The 20^th IMEKO TC2 Symposium on Photonics in Measurement 2011 will summarise the impact and contribution of Photonics to the field of measurements.
