Master's Degree in Computer Science
The JKU Master's Degree Program in Computer Science is a full-time, 2 year program comprised of 120 ECTS credits. The program is taught in English and features 5 fields of concentration:
• Computational Engineering
• Intelligent Information Systems
• Networks and Security
• Pervasive Computing
• Software Engineering.
The program curriculum contains a rich selection of elective courses which allow students to specialize according to personal interests. Students can complete practicals and Master's thesis projects together with industrial partner companies.
JKU is a vibrant place to study and a premiere institution for research. The department employs 30 tenured faculty members and supervises over 1000 enrolled students (approximately 650 undergraduate students, 300 graduate students, and 80 PhD candidates). The department is internationally recognized and strongly committed to base-knowledge research and applied research.
