Master's Degree in Pervasive Computing
Designing and configurating miniature, spontaneous and wirelessly linked systems, as well as the skill to undectably integrate systems in the surrounding environment, requires very specialized and specific apparatus informatic processing. In this regard, the Master's degree program in Pervasive Computing focuses on the relationship of a multitude of technologies (i.e. sensors, actuators, wireless communication, miniature cache memory and processors), paradigms (i.e. context related and adaptable systems, autonomous and self-regulating systems, organic and organically-inspired systems) and procedures (i.e. for communication, coordination, system reliability, security, usability and ergonomics).
Potential Career Opportunities
The program objective is to provide graduates not only with a high level of decision-making and assessment skills, but also design and development skills in Pervasive Computing systems such as information appliances, wearable systems and ambient intelligence systems.
