Doctorate Degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies

The doctorate degree program in Humanities and Cultural Studies serves to hone the skills required to conduct independent research. Moreover, the program has been designed to provide advanced and in-depth expertise of diverse methods applied in Humanities and Cultural Studies to support current research projects at a doctorate level.

Educational objectives of the doctorate degree program in Humanities and Cultural Studies include:

  • Acquire skills to solve complex scientific problems and questions in the areas of base-knowledge and applied research,
  • Acquire skills to participate in research processes and scientific discourse on an international level and within the context of the global employment market
  • Acquire skills to participate in cooperative structures of research (social skills, ability to work in a team, academic and scientific management skills) and
  • Acquire skills to partake in discursive structures of research (communicative competency skills)
