The Adolf Adam Award
The Adolf Adam Computer Science Award is presented to JKU Linz graduates in Computer Science. The award, named after the first Computer Science professor Adolf Adam at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, was initially awarded in 2011. The award is presented in recognition of outstanding graduate work in the field of Computer Sciences. School students from local high schools serve as the jury panel.
During a pre-selection phase, the four best graduate theses from the past academic year will be selected. During a ten-minute presentation, the thesis author will have an opportunity to present the details of his/her work in a compact, comprehensible, and exciting way. School students in the audience can vote for the best presentation via text message. Participating school students also have a chance to win an iPhone!
