The JKU Brings in 321 Million Euros Annually to Upper Austria

According to a recent study conducted by JKU economist Professor Friedrich Schneider, the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz has a considerably positive economic impact on the region: 321 million Euros additional added-value for Upper Austria alone in 2010 as well as 2,050 new jobs annually. The establishment of degrees in Polymer Engineering has been a large part of it.

New Deans for Faculties at the JKU

During the most recent meeting of the Rectorate at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz, new deans of faculty were appointed for a two-year period of office. Beginning in October, Meinhard Lukas will be the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Teodoro Cocca will be the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business. Erich Peter Klement will remain the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences for another two-year period.
