May 10: New CD Lab at the JKU: Tiny Particles in a Large Blast Furnace

Over the next seven years, scientists at the new Christian Doppler laboratory will explore the interaction of gases, liquids and particles in detail. Together with industrial partners, the Department of Particulate Flow Modelling at the JKU will focus on “multi-scale modeling of multiphase processes”. The budget is approximately 2 million euros.
