Dr. Margit Waid

Dr. Margit Waid studied journalism and literature at the University of Vienna. She has been head of the Department for Gender & Diversity at the JKU and a course instructor since 2007. In addition to a broad lecture field, she works in the ongoing development and implementation of programs in the field of vocational education at primary schools: "Girls in Engineering - Boys in Education" (INTERREG with the University of Passau), "Berufsbilder- Berufswahl-rechtzeitig!" with primary schools in Linz.
Her personal interests lies in the field of interest research as the key to pursuing a degree or profession later on.
After completing her studies, Margit Waid taught in the field of adult education, at the educational university in the field of intercultural communications, multilingual teaching and learning, and has experience and expertise in the field of organizational development.
