About Us

The Department of Facilities Management is the university’s central service and maintenance department responsible for all areas of utilities management. The range of responsibilities, functions and services includes structural planning and execution, repairs, providing office and building furnishings, and cleaning services as well as the refurbishment and maintenance of buildings and property.

The Department of Facilities Management is divided into the following areas:

Core Tasks - Service Center - Individual Support Services

  • Orders and Complaint Management
  • Maintenance Hotline (maintenance concerns such as improperly working equipment, burned-out lights, restroom repairs, etc.)
  • Processing internal work orders
  • Labeling
  • Office doors
  • Bulletin boards
  • Special labeling services
  • Card Activiation (Access System)
  • Interior doors: such as the Austrian Student Union
  • Exterior doors: Science Park, Bldgs. 1 - 3, Hochschulfond Bldg., Management Center, Juridicum Bldg., Kepler Bldg., Gruber Str.
  • External renters: Altenbergerstraße 50-56, Aubrunnerweg 1-9, New Raab-Heim
  • Parking Lot Services
  • Activate parking authorization (day and fixed-rate customers)
  • Administration of semester tickets for students
  • Service disruptions (such as improperly working pay machines, barriers, etc.)
  • Issue and invoicing exit tickets/visitor tickets
  • Administration of reserved parking spots (outside lots and underground garages)
