Reservation / Permission for an Information Stand...

... what are the guidelines for an information stand on campus?

In-house information stands - as well as stands set up by external exhibitors - will be approved as long as the content of the exhibition/presentation is in the interest of the JKU.

From Monday to Thursday - 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and Fridays from 7:00 am to 1:30 pm - please contact:

Submit an application request by phone, e-mail or in person to Event Management, Rm. 007 (connecting corridor) and include the day and time you would like to have an information stand.

Follow up by sending a request per e-mail to: raumbewirtschaftung(/\t)jku.at
and include the dates you would like to have an information stand.

When sending an e-mail or written letter, be sure to include your address and telephone number!

If you are charging an attendance fee at your stand, please include the account address, UID number and commercial register number.

... Approximately how long does it take to process an application?

Application processing depends on each case and how many people are involved in the process. In general however, processing should take no longer than one week.

1st Week

The fee will be charged per day.

2nd Week

For 5 days, the fee will be the amount for 4 days

3rd Week

For 5 days the fee will be the amount for 3 days

... Where may I set up my information stand?

In order to avoid a cluster of information stands setting up in one particular location, the stand location must be discussed in advance with the Department of Event Management.

In general, information stands may be set up around campus but not in classrooms, lecture halls, Rep. rooms and meeting rooms. Permission can be granted in certain cases. Please contact the staff at Event Management for more information.

...What are the costs for parking fees in the visitor parking lot?

In general, you may park free on campus for 30 minutes for loading/unloading purposes. Please use the delivery access road.

... What is the cancellation policy?

Previously approved information stands cancelled for reasons within the applicant's control are still subject to fees.
