Theft

In cases of theft, the person(s) concerned must immediately file a police report. After filing a report, you will receive a confirmation from the police that a report has been filed. Please submit the confirmation form together with the completed theft form “Diebstahlsmeldung” (download below) to the Legal Department.

Please be aware that in cases of negligence by an employee regarding a lack of safeguarding university property the university can demand damages.

If personal property has been stolen, you must file a police report on your own accord.

Poster Policy

A limited number of posters may be displayed on campus and in university buildings only if they are in compliance with poster guidelines, content approval and bear a permit stamp by the Legal Dept. All posters not in compliance with university regulations and not approved by the Legal Dept. will be removed immediately.

Please note:

  • Advertisements by off-campus and external organizations are not permitted.
  • Every poster must display an imprint
  • Election groups will receive a maximum of 8 approved posters
  • Remaining fractions such as external organizations (as long as the advertised event is in the interest of students) will receive a maximum of 8 approved posters.

Posters displayed on the large wooden board walls (i.e. across from the Uni-Center) do not require any approval by the Legal Dept. There is no limit to the number of posters that may be displayed.
