Temporary Professorship - Economics with a Focus on Economic Theory

Announcement of a temporary Faculty Opening at the Johannes Kepler University Linz as temporary professor for Economic Theory in compliance with the Austrian Universities Act of 2002, §94 para. 2 subpara. 1 UG 2002).

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business at the Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a limited position as

Temporary Professor
in Economics with a focus on Economic Theory


from October 1, 2014 to February 28, 2015.

The successful applicant should be active in the field of Economic Theory (applied approach) or a related field and an outstanding educator in research and teaching. The successful candidate will temporarily fill a vacant position at the Institute of Economics in the field of teaching and research and will be expected to hold courses in the field of International Business and Economics.

Salary as stated in the collective agreement will be € 4,697.80 net per month.
