Announcement of a Faculty Opening at the Johannes Kepler University Linz in Economics (Theory of Microeconomics) in compliance with the Austrian Universities Act of 2002, §94 para. 2 subpara. 1 UG 2002)
The Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business at the Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a position of
(Theory of Microeconomics)
to begin immediately. An evaluation will follow after a four-year period.
The successful candidate is expected to represent and further develop teaching and research in the field of Economics and Industrial Economics. In accordance with the institute’s objectives and purposes, professional activities should include applied research at the forefront.
Applicants for the position must have a post-doctorate (venia docendi) degree (or comparable post-doctorate qualifications) in the advertised subject area.
A salary above the minimum amount as stated in the collective agreement will be voluntarily offered. Depending on the current position (present salary) the annual gross salary will be between €70,000 to € 90,000 (minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement plus voluntary additional payments).
