In compliance with § 99 of Austrian Universities Act, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and Business at the Johannes Kepler University Linz is announcing a faculty opening for an Interim Professor of Applied Psychology

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Economics and at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz invites applications for a position as a

Interim Professor for Applied Psychology

to begin on October 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.

The successful candidate should have proven expertise in research and teaching in at least two of the following areas, namely labor, organizational, economic, social, health or media psychology. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to show excellence in research, possess an internationally renowned reputation, and have an outstanding publication list as well as be strongly involved in the international scientific community; the successful candidate must have a Habilitation (venia docendi) degree or an internationally comparable post-doctorate qualification. The successful candidate will teach 8 weekly hours per semester in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs and supervise Bachelor degree theses required for students in accordance with the curriculum and study regulations; the successful candidate may also be asked to supervise Diploma degree and Master’s degree theses.

The gross salary in accordance with the collective agreement is EUR 66,953.60.
