What is SPAM

SPAM e-mails are unwanted, annoying (advertising) e-mails. Fighting SPAM is difficult and complex. The most important feature of SPAM mails is they are unwanted. The criteria are often subjective so that unmistakable automatic detection of SPAM messages can be difficult.

For this reason, all incoming e-mails at JKU are searched via SMTP Relay Server for SPAM and marked as such before being forwarded to the recipient.

If you do not want SPAM e-mails in your Inbox, you must adjust the settings in your mail program’s filter.
