Funding programs provide supplementary financing in addition to basic state programs in support of academic activities. These funding programs are (mostly) provided through public funds made available to support academic, community and economic programs.
External funding of research activities is very important for the JKU.
Changes in society and economic development mean that conditions and rules for this type of funding is often subject to continual changes. We will try and provide a general overview of programs and information pertaining to research funding opportunities.
