Graduate Program in Global Executive MBA

Program Objectives
(1) Graduates of the “Global Executive MBA” program are best prepared for leadership positions in a dynamic, global environment as they acquire the most recent academic and scientific knowledge and real-world qualifications at a deeper level.

(2) In the future, greater dynamics and increasing competition will require businesses in general and their managers in particular to position themselves better in global markets and industries. The program aims to relay current and explicit "state-of-the-art" knowledge via concepts, theories, methods and tools in both international and strategic general management and integrate this knowledge with corresponding specific skills and qualification objectives.

(3) An additional, essential qualification goal is developing and integrating key skills required for conscious control and managing processes at both the business level and on an individual (leadership) level. Key success factors include:

  4. Interdisciplinary Skills Set

(4) The MBA program’s central approach is academically sound course content and hands-on practice of course material.

Admission Requirements
(1) Applicants seeking admission to the program must have successfully completed a Bachelor, Master's, or Diploma degree program, or a comparable and equivalent academic degree program, including a minimum of five years of solid professional work experience.

(2) Space in the program is limited. Higher qualified applicants will be given preference for admission. The Vice Rector of Teaching will render the final decision regarding admission to the program based on recommendations by the program's Academic Director.

(3) If space in the program is available, applicants who do not have the required academic qualifications in accordance with (1) but can show documented proof of a minimum of 7 years of solid professional work experience, and a minimum of five years of management experience in regards to their professional career, experience and accomplishments (including incomplete studies and continuing education courses of marginal length) may be considered for admission

(4) The percentage of persons mentioned in (3) may not make up more than 50% of the total number of program participants.

(5) The start of a new program is contingent on a minimum number of admitted participants. Admission will become official when the minimum number of participants is attained.
