Mentoring Program

The area of Physics and the Studies Commission for Technical Physics and Teacher Education Studies have officially created a mentoring system for new students enrolled in Physics at the JKU Linz.

The program aims to provide personal support services in which designated professors from the physics department help facilitate communication between you, students and other physics instructors. Mentors provide guidance, support and academic advice during the first semester of studies and are available in the event of any problems during your studies. Your mentor can also assist you in planning your academic career and help you learn more about your future job prospects.

Participation in the mentoring program is optional. During the first six months we offer all students the opportunity to meet with a mentor. The mentor will contact you after you enroll at the university to organize a meeting time.
