Registering for MUSSS and MUSSS O.C. Courses

You will find MUSSS courses in KUSSS in the corresponding course category however, they will appear under an individual time registration period. You can arrange your course schedule for the semester to include a mix of “regular” courses, the new MUSSS O.C. courses (in which fees do not apply) and regular MUSSS courses (in which fees apply).

Once you have put your semester schedule together, proceed to the MUSSS Shop where, if applicable, you can order supplementary materials (such as text books, if offered). To access the MUSSS Shop, please click on the appropriate link visible under the registration period for MUSSS courses. You can then select only individual courses. You may opt to pay as before or put all KUSSS registrations together and then pay for everything at once; this will allow you to reduce the number of payment procedures. Entered registrations remain stored in KUSSS allowing you to suspend the registration process and then proceed at a later time by accessing the MUSSS Webshop.

The MUSSS Shop allows you to see the fees that apply for each individual module and you have an opportunity to decide which modules you would like to “purchase”. You can find detailed course descriptions and services for individual courses under the section "Modulangebot". The courses are subject to certain terms and conditions; if you opt not to accept these terms and conditions, there will be no contract agreement and therefore you will not be allocated to a MUSSS course.

As soon as you have paid the required fees for the MUSSS courses you would like to attend and/or have confirmed the MUSSS O.C. courses by confirming in the MUSSS Ship, you will be enrolled in the course via KUSSS. Please note: in between you must sign yourself out of the course and re-register via KUSSS; information regarding payment will be only be updated in KUSSS when you re-access the system. After logging into KUSSS anew, you should then see in the system that you are enrolled in the course(s) you paid for.

Registration via KUSSS will also allow you to also complete only individual courses, meaning sections of modules; we recommend continuing on to complete the entire module. In regards to the dates, we ask that you observe the module structure and note that examination dates per module take place on one day. The option to select individual courses enables students in other majors to select only the sections they require from each module.

Students enrolled in the English modules are required to complete the entire module. You will only be able to select the first section and after selecting this course, you will be charged for the second and then enrolled in that course as well. You will see the enrollment after the registration deadline.

As before, students may pay online using a credit card or by EPS payment. Those who opt not to pay online (due to either having an account at a non-supporting bank or no access to online banking services) may pay by bank transfer using a pay-in slip. See Fees/Payment.
