Final Degree Check List in Compliance with the 2007W Curriculum (former curriculum)

Requirements to Register for the Final Diploma Examination:

1) Please register in time at the Department of Teaching and Study Services

Registration Deadlines:

2) Completion of all required courses in compliance with the program curriculum
(self-monitoring, subject course catalogue for Economics and Business Administration)

3) Punctual submission and grading of the Diploma degree thesis to the Office of Examinations and Recognition Services.

The thesis supervisor has a 3-month period in which to submit the final thesis grade after submission of the Diploma degree thesis (statute § 36/7).

4) Punctual submission of all paperwork regarding credit transfer, if required.

Decisions regarding credit transfer can take up to two months (Universities Act 2002 § 78/8).

Requirements to Register for the Qualifying Examinations (=Fachprüfungen):

When registering for qualifying examinations or degree completion, please bring the following documents:
- completed examination roster form.

Conferral Certificate and Academic Degree

Approximately two weeks after successfully passing the final Diploma degree examination and after submitting a final degree application, students may pick up their official degree (issued in German and English) and the 2nd Diploma examination certificate at the Dept. of Teaching and Study Services.


Students who graduate after October 1, 2009, must complete and submit the UStat2 form (a census form regarding study-related stays abroad).
