Summer/Winter Schools und Kurzstudienprogramme
Summer Schools sind meist einwöchige bis zweimonatige wissenschaftliche Fachkurse (nicht Sprachkurse, hierzu finden Sie Informationen unter "Sprachkurse im Ausland"). Leider existieren keine umfassenden Auflistungen über das äußerst umfangreiche weltweite oder länderweise Kursangebot. Informationen finden Sie meist auf den Webseiten der ausländischen Universitäten. Teilweise verfügen auch ausländische Botschaften über Informationen.
Die Bewerbung um die Teilnahme erfolgt direkt beim Veranstalter. Die Kurse sind in der Regel kostenpflichtig. Es gibt jedoch eine Reihe von Förderungen.
