Department for Energy-Efficient Analog Circuits and Systems

The Department for Energy-Efficient Analog Circuits and Systems covers the design of analog and mixed-signal circuits and systems, with emphasis on low-power circuit techniques, radio-frequency integrated circuits, power-management and energy harvesting. Using our strong background in circuit and systems design for cellular communications we are exploring novel power amplifier technologies, 5G cellular communication, low-power wireless sensor networks and new approaches in energy harvesting and power management. We are also active in the area of electro-static discharge protection of circuits and systems which special consideration of electromagnetic interference. For students, we offer lectures for graduate and undergraduate students and supervise Bachelor as well as Master theses. In addition, PhD theses are offered for further studies.
