Cooperations

The project proposal promised to investigate consistency and inconsistency repairs primarily in context of the Unified Modeling Language (UML). However, we then suggested that the technology has more general applicability and promised to also investigate other domains, such a product line engineering. In total, we collaborated with a wide range of research institutions internationally. The result of this collaboration contributed significantly to the publications above. Indeed, the best paper award in COMPSAC was the direct result of one such collaboration [5]. The following lists all institutions we collaborated with that also resulted in publications:

Within the Johannes Kepler University:

  • the Mechatronics department to investigate the applicability beyond software engineering to include systems engineering [9, 14]
  • the Christian Doppler Laboratory to investigate the applicability onto another area of software engineering (product lines) which is covered by different models and constraints than then UML [11].

Internationally with the following institutions:

  • CRI, Panthéon Sorbonne University, Paris, France
  • Ingeniería de Sistemas, University of Antioquia, Medellín, Colombia
  • Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain
  • CITI/Departamento de Informática, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Caparica, Portugal
  • IKERLAN Research Centre. Mondragon, Spain
  • BigLever Software. Austin, TX, USA
  • University College London, UK
