Linzer Membranseminar 2013

The „Linzer Membranseminar (LMS)“ is held every year in September.
This workshop is designed for people from industry who are interested to try applications of membrane technology like reverse osmosis and ultra-, nano- and microfiltration in practical exercises on the laboratory scale.
During the last fifteen years the application potential of separation membranes has experienced a considerable growth. Beside the classical application in the field of producing drinking and process water from sea- and brackish water or in the production of ground- and surface water of high purity, membrane processes in many different tasks in the chemical and pharmazeutical industry, food production and in the field of environmental protection prove an economic alternative to conventional processes.
