Words of Welcome by the Academic Director of Troika

Dear Students,

The joint Master's degree program in Global Business, “MGB-Troika”, provides students with a finely tuned balance between the soft and hard skills that are highly sought after in today's global business environment. By joining our efforts in an international context in cooperation with the Higher School of Economics in Nizhny Novgorod and the School of Management, University Bergamo, we are pleased to be able to provide our students with unique, in-depth insight and context-specific knowledge in respective areas of business.

The program has been designed to meet the demands for expert knowledge in the field of international management, including a special focus on finance. In addition, the program aims to prepare students to pursue a career in international working environment by offering targeted courses in cultural awareness, languages, economic and cultural context, as well as global governance structures. There is also a strong emphasis on the situated learning experience as realized by conducting real-world business projects in the Lombardy region.

What sets this program apart from many other international global business programs is the fact that our students not only attend courses in global business, they also benefit by facing the challenges of spending time abroad and being an active part of a culturally diverse class throughout an academic year period. This unique program aspect fosters successful, long-lasting learning results.

The program offers students an extraordinary opportunity to better understand the complexities of developments in global business by providing future managers with a critical and truly international perspective that goes beyond the boundaries of traditional national education.

Sincerely,

Daniel Semper
