Partnership between the Universities of Linz and Fribourg/Schweiz

Since 1989 there is an official partnership between the Universities of Linz and Fribourg. This partnership agreement gives students the possibility to spend time abroad and to study at the University of Fribourg.

Further information on the University of Fribourg, study grants and financing is provided by the International Office.

The following documents must be submitted to the International Office:

  • Letter of motivation in German including your intention for studying abroad
  • Current CV in German and in the target language including a picture
  • Copy of current transcripts that include all examinations passed at the JKU

The open spots are given away in the middle of February in line with the approval of the University of Fribourg. In case of intending to no longer fill your spot, please inform Doris Holzmann immediately in order to give other students the opportunity.
