An article in the journal of the Communications of the ACM (June 2007) recently recognized Dr. Egyed as the 10th best scholar in software engineering. This article ranked thousands of software engineering scholars according to their quality and quantity of publications. In addition, Dr. Egyed’s work has been chosen among the “best of” papers of the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2001) – the premier conference in software engineering – and the International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (2001). He also received a Recognition of Service Award from the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) for Co-Chairing the Program Committee of the 22nd IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE), Atlanta, GA, USA.
