General Information

After having the last Digital Fluid Power workshop embedded into the 9th IFK in Aachen in March 2014, the 7th version of this workshop series will take place in Linz again. It will provide an excellent forum for researchers and for potential users of this upcoming technology, by offering first hand information about new developments and about realized industrial applications. Like the earlier workshops in Linz and Tampere broad room will be also given to experimental demonstrations of various digital drives.

The DFP15 will be an one and a half days event, seeing presentations and discussions on Thursday, 26th and lab demonstrations on Friday, 27th. Experiences from the former workshops show that these demonstrations will be intensively used for bi- or multilateral exchange of knowledge, for discussions, and for the making of plans.

New, additional feature

An additional workshop feature will be a weekend (February 27th afternoon till March 1st) in the Alps (Alpine Weekend) with the possibility for skiing or other winter sports activities. This is optional and shall offer interested persons not only a recreational event in an Austrian skiing resort but will be also an excellent opportunity for continuing an intense discussion on digital fluid power and for making plans on future activities.

The registration fee of € 350 covers workshop proceedings, lunch, refreshments and a dinner on 26th evening. The Alpine Weekend will be charged separately.
