Pediatric First-Aid Course

In-House Courses for Employees

Parent & child

Together with the JKU's Department of Employee Safety and the Red Cross of Upper Austria, we are offering a new first-aid course for employees on how to perform pediatric first aid. The course is particularly suitable for employees who have small children and/or are parents-to-be. As a family-friendly university, it is particularly important for the JKU to remain in contact with employees on leave and offer all employees who have families a target-group-specific continuing education opportunity.

As part of the course, you will learn more about potential outdoor hazards as well as situations at home and elsewhere. The course provides valuable information about how to prevent accidents and what to do in the event of an emergency, as well as information about infant and toddler illnesses so you can provide first aid independently and responsibly. The pediatric first-aid course is held by the Red Cross.
