University of Applied Arts Vienna, opens an external URL in a new window

The “Innovation through Universitas” alliance between the JKU and the University of Applied Arts Vienna is a pioneering commitment to the synthesis of scientific and artistic approaches. Initiated in 2019, it is also the starting point for jointly shaping future-oriented education and initiating cross-fertilization in research and development.

Ars Electronica, opens an external URL in a new window

The Johannes Kepler University Linz and Ars Electronica share a common goal to sustainably strengthen the interaction between art and science, seek the open transfer of knowledge together with a broader community, and foster a technological concept that focuses on people. In keeping with these efforts, the Johannes Kepler University Linz has held the renowned Ars Electronica Festival on campus since 2020, jointly implementing various installations, including the Festival University and ArtScience Residency.
