1st Heinrich Lecture with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Armin Heinzl

On the occasion of the 85th birthday of em. Univ.-Prof. Lutz J. Heinrich, the Institute of Information Systems - Information Engineering has initiated a lecture series. The first Heinrich Lecture will take place on May 31, 2021, virtually due to the current situation.

It is a great honor and pleasure for us that we could win the renowned business informatics expert Univ.-Prof. Dr. Armin Heinzl for the first Heinrich Lecture.

Topic:
Digital platform ecosystems have become increasingly important in recent years. The first Heinrich Lecture covers their structure and mechanisms of action, formal and informal governance tools, and challenges in adoption. About the speaker: Prof. Dr. Armin Heinzl holds the Chair of ABWL and Business Informatics at the University of Mannheim and is co-founder of Mannheim Business School gGmbH. He has published in authoritative national and international journals and is co-author of two standard works with Prof. Dr. Lutz J. Heinrich.
