The JKU Business School: Dr. Georg Reischauer is Named the First “Rising Scholar”
The JKU Business School draws attention to particularly outstanding faculty members who have outstanding publications.
Georg Reischauer (a research & teaching fellow at the JKU Institute of Organizational Science) is a Fellow and Principal Investigator for projects funded by the JKU Business School and the Linz Institute of Technology. He is also an assistant professor and head of the Energy & Strategy Think-Tank at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Dr. Georg Reischauer explores just how companies working in established industries can sustainably use digital technologies. He currently focuses on digital market places - such as those used by Amazon, Uber and Airbnb - as well as innovation platforms that include the Android smartphone operating system. His work has been published in several journals, including the Academy of Management Discoveries, Industry and Innovation, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
JKU Business School Rising Scholars are post-doctoral candidates who work at one of the JKU Business School’s supporting institutes and have published outside their dissertation work over the past two years.
