Elke Schüßler participates in an upcoming expert panel, opens an external URL in a new window on "Organizing Risk and Management Supply Chains" organized by the London School of Economics "Organizing Risk Group". In a webinar, the panelists will discuss contemporary risks to effective supply chain management and the consequences for organizations. While many organizations not only experienced supply chain risk during the COVID-19 pandemic but are still experiencing it today, it seems to be different and fundamentally more complex considering the additional effect of modern slavery regulation, labour shortages, the energy crisis, and geopolitical disruptions. The panel of experts will debate the nature and novelty of contemporary risks to effective supply chain management as well as how to organize them.
