On Tuesday, 29.11.2022, the memorial ceremony for em. o.Univ.-Prof. Dkfm. Dr. Dr.h.c.mult. Ernest Kulhavy (1925-2020) (founder of the Institute for Trade, Sales and Marketing; Rector of the JKU Linz) could be made up for. Unfortunately, this had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the event he was thanked for his works and contributions to science (marketing, university), business and society. Numerous graduates of the Institute, former colleagues and employees, as well as friends, family and companions of Prof. Kulhavy attended the event. The team of the Institute of Commerce, Sales and Marketing was also present. The varied programme also included several panel discussions with representatives from science (e.g. Prof. Dr. Christoph Teller), business (e.g. Mag. Rainer Reichl) and politics (e.g. Dr. Franz Dobusch).
