Transition Period.

Our educators help children transition and acclimate to the group by helping them to become comfortable with the environment.

The acclimatization/familiarization phase will take place one month before the start of studies; this means once in February and once in September.

During the first two hours of acclimatization and on different days, one parent will remain on-site. This gives the child the opportunity to 'let go' slowly and eventually learn to stay at the childcare facility without the parent present.

After these initial steps, the educators earn the child's trust.
Additional steps will be discussed with the director in person so everyone involved can make sure to take the child's needs into consideration.
The first time "to stay alone" will be about 15 minutes and the time period will gradually increase in small increments.

We take the time needed not just for the children, but for parents as well!
