Acclimation Period.

Our educators help children transition and acclimate to the group by helping them feel more comfortable with the environment.

The acclimatization phase will take place one month before the start of studies, meaning once in February and once in September.

During the first two hours during the adjustment period - and on different days - one parent will remain on-site. This gives the child the opportunity to 'let go' slowly and eventually learn to stay at the childcare facility without the parent present.

Educators can usually earn the child's trust after these initial steps
Additional steps will be discussed with the director in person so everyone involved can make sure to take the child's needs into consideration.
The first time "staying alone" will be about 15 minutes and the time period will gradually increase in small increments.

We take the time needed not just for the children, but for parents as well!
