Campus Location

The Main Campus Library is located between the Lecture Hall Wing and the University Center (university cafeteria). Renovation and new construction on the building startet in the summer of 2018. The newly remodeled library is expected to open its doors in April 2020.

JKU Learning Center/Library (Under Construction)

New Addition to the Main Campus Library

The JKU Main Campus Library's new addition will be reminiscent of the "Spanish Steps". A spacious sweeping staircase, which also leads to the outdoor area of library, will take you inside the building. The plans include adding a forecourt as well as an atrium.

The new, separate walk-in Study Zone will be open longer, giving students new areas to study and get-together. Project and group rooms are also in the planning stages. JKU faculty members can also be use to area to conduct research and write.
