Scientific Project Assistants (Student Assistants)

We are frequently looking for Scientific Project Assistants ("Student Assistants") for up to 20 hours per week (less is also possible, but not more), besides your studies. You would be hired based on collective agreement Job Grade IIIa. Please contact: Univ. Prof. Mag. Dr. Rick Rabiser.

Tasks

  • Supporting the research done in the lab in the area of software engineering with a particular focus on software and systems variability in the application area of cyber-physical production systems
  • Development of approaches and methods, especially development of prototypes and demonstrators
  • Supporting the writing/development of scientific publications and presentations
  • Supporting the cooperation with the industry partner of the lab

Qualifications

  • Currently studying Computer Science (incl. AI), Business Informatics, Mechatronics or ELIT
  • High school diploma, preferably from a school with a focus on computer science or a related field
  • Experiences in software engineering, especially in current programming languages (e.g., Java) and development tools (e.g., Eclipse)
  • Good English language skills
  • German skills are of advantage
  • Ability to work as part of a (research) team
