Summary of the SECPPS Workshop in Traunkirchen, Jun 1-3, 2022

The LIT CPS Lab und CDL VaSiCS organized the fifth annual Software Engineering in Cyber-Physical Production Systems Workshop (https://rickrabiser.github.io/secpps-ws/, opens an external URL in a new window) on-site between June 1 - 3 at the International Academy Traunkirchen (https://www.akademietraunkirchen.com/, opens an external URL in a new window). Over 20 participants discussed various topics that included Digital Twins, Digital Shadows, Automation, DevOps, Low-code, Variability, Modularization, and much more. There were also two keynote speeches:

Keynote Speech 1: Andreas Wortmann – Missing Links: Why We are Far from “Engineering” Digital Ewins

Keynote Speech 2: Bianca Wiesmayr and Rick Rabiser – Usability of Software Engineering Tools

Informal activities, such as a boat ride across the Traunsee lake, provided a casual setting to meet and network with others.
