Informations for your arrival:

The village of Mauterndorf has a stop that serves the public bus transport network. The train ride from the city of Salzburg out to Radstadt changing to the Postbus to Mauterndorf takes approximately two-and-a-half hours. Heading north, Tamsweg is the next available train stop.

Mauterndorf can be reached on the A 10 Tauernautobahn motorway via the St. Michael exit and then by taking the B 99 to Mauterndorf.
Please note! A motorway toll sticker (Vignette) is required for all motorways in Austria. There is also an additional motorway toll for the Tauerntunnel (between Flachauwinkel-Süd and Zederhaus) heading south and for the Katschbergtunnel (between Rennweg and St. Michael) heading north.
