The aim of the H2desorb project is to improve a chemical accumulator for hydrogen that brings it closer to applications. Topics include: increasing capacity, faster kinetics through micro- and nanostructuring of magnesium, thermal management and use of graphene as a heat conductor and H2 barrier. Simulations, manufacturing and measurements of such an H2 accumulator will verify the results and demonstrate success for future applications.
