Oral examinations for the FernUniversität in Hagen as well as for the JKU's Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Artificial Intelligence and the JKU Multimedia Diploma degree program in Law can be taken at the Centre for Distance Studies in Vienna.

As a FernUniversität Hagen student residing in Austria, you can take almost all of the oral examinations at a study centre in Austria, thereby saving time and money in regards to travel costs. Take the following steps into account:

1. Submit an informal request to the examination office in question to get approval by Hagen, the examiner, and the Examination Office.

2. Make an appointment with the examiner in charge as well as with the Examination Office.
3. Coordinate the appointment with the corresponding Centre for Distance Studies in Austria.

4. Those studying Computer Sciences (Informatics) must sign up (in writing) and receive confirmation issued by the Centre for Distance Studies.

Students enrolled in the JKU Bachelor's and Master's program Artificial Intelligence can take oral examinations in Linz (campus map), Bregenz and Vienna.
