After a two-year break on account of the Coronavirus pandemic, the time has finally come again to organize the popular FIT Info Days on-site at the JKU Linz! The FIT (Women in Technology) Info Days will take place on Monday, February 13 and Tuesday, Februay 14, 2023, between 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Science Park 3 (JKU) in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences (FH) for Health Professions in Upper Austria.
 

Program Points

• Opening remarks
• An introduction of academic degree programs in engineering and natural sciences, teacher education studies in STEM fields, as well as degree programs in Business Informatics and Statistics & Data Science at the JKU Linz
• Introduction of technical degree programs at the University of Applied Sciences (FH) for Health Professions in Upper Austria - biometric analytics and radiology technology
• A mock lecture in the subject area of engineering or natural sciences
• Marketplace of Technology: Individual academic advising and information provided by female students enrolled in various degree programs in engineering/natural sciences
• An introduction to studying by inviting small groups of participants to learn more about lab testing and conducting experiments
