Merit Scholarships.

Merit scholarships are awarded in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.

A merit scholarship may not be less than € 750 but not exceed € 1,500 for two semesters. Merit scholarships can also be awarded in addition to a study grant.

You can only apply for a merit scholarship is once a year, usually in October, using the online application. The call for applications outlines the minimum requirements, required documents and application deadlines. The call will also be published in the JKU Linz "Bulletin". Published List of Applicants

In accordance with Sec. 61 (4) of the Student Support Act as amended by BGBl I No. 47/2008 in the currently valid version, educational institutions awarding a merit scholarship must publish a ranking of applicants. The Johannes Kepler University Linz herewith complies with the publication requirement. In the interest of data privacy, the list is anonymous.
