The JKU Graduation Scholarship

Beginning Winter Semester 2018/2019, we can no longer accept applications to waive tuition fees on account of being employed as the Constitutional Court revoked the corresponding act on June 30, 2018. There is no replacement regulation.

New JKU scholarship regulations apply to a certain group of gainfully employed students who were previously eligible for a tuition waiver.

The guidelines for the 2023/2024 academic year are available below.

Applications for graduate scholarships must be submitted online only between October 1, 2024 and November 30, 2024 using the electronic application form.

The criteria for the graduate scholarship is available in the guidelines.

Detailed information about the documentation to include with the application is available in the guidelines.

If your application is approved, you will receive a maximum of €365 for the semester you applied for. If you exceed the stipulated income for the 2023 calendar year (€16,500), payment will then be reduced accordingly. If you are enrolled in a joint degree program, the scholarship amount will be reduced to the percentage that is used to calculate the time period in which the applicant actively took examinations at JKU Linz.
