Program Objective:
The graduate program in Health Care Management aims to provide medical professionals and business executives with in-depth understanding and skills in business, economics and law and become an effective leader and a key player when meeting the challenges of today’s rapidly evolving, dynamic healthcare market.

The graduate program in Health Care Management has been designed especially for: professionals and supervisors/management in the healthcare sector, such as physicians, senior nurses, administrative staff who have budget and personnel responsibilities, as well as other professional groups who exercise managerial responsibility. Program Objective:
Every day physicians are confronted with a variety issues ranging from obligations to provide legal disclosure, documentation, understanding labor laws, hospital laws, and basic criminal & civil laws to grasping social and tax issues.

This hands-on program provides students with legal expertise that can be applied to their respective medical fields on a daily basis. The program instructors are legal experts who are able to convey the program content educationally in the classroom.

The program has been primarily designed for medical physicians and legal professionals who specialize in Medical Law, notary publics, legal practitioners, and university graduates who wish to learn more in-depth about the field of Medical Law.

Program Objective:
The program aims to open participants up to methodical-critical reflection of medical action in regards to their ethical and moral boundaries. During the course, instructors and students will discuss general base-knowledge ethics in the context of a philosophical discipline. Topics of reflection include doctor-patient relationships as well as ethical questions at the beginning and end of life, and special questions in selected medical subject areas. Additional topics include pharmaceutical ethics, ethical questions as applied to care facilities, general care, emergency and intensive care medicine, research ethics and public health ethics.

The program is aimed in particular at medical physicians as well as those involved in the field of healthcare.

Mediation and conflict management as an alternative, out-of-court option to resolve disputes in cases of family and partner conflicts as well as business and environmental conflicts.

This university-level program focuses on a broad spectrum of academic foundations, giving students practical hands-on tools as well as the skills necessary to become experts in the field of mediation and conflict management. Graduates are officially registered in the list of mediators administered by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice.
